Just a short note to say hello. been monitoring AoS for a while so here goes. from North London, not the red ones!

have listened to music most of my life, from old 78 rpm portable to latest computer files. Some journey. retired just a year ago and the passions of photos and music have taken over. Must say my wife is very understanding.

Have various bits of kit including Garrrard 401 with totally new plinth with a Rega arm. Still makes vinyl sound great.

Current system is cyrus based with psxr's and Av master 8.0, which failed to sell but i like it a lot. Also have the latest Caiman 2 from Stan B. Incredible piece of kit. Even better than the Bushmaster 2 IMHO.

I also use Caiman 2 for the tv, could be heresy, but sound is very revealing of the source material, superb. Speakers were the Mission 753's, but now replaced with mission 750's which were in the loft.

Musical taste varies with the seasons. Anything and everything, even the modern stuff!

That's enough for now.

Await your thoughts / comments.

Welcome to AoS Tadeusz.

That's an unusual name - is it east european? Nice introduction. Pleased to hear you are enjoying Stan's designs. Are the CD player and amplifier by Cyrus?

Good to hear you have a broad taste in music. :)

Enjoy the forum

Hi there Barry, thanks for the welcome.

Yes the name is Polish. But I'm a Brit through and through. Born and lived in North London. Yep, Cyrus all round Cd8se plus psxr. I like the sound.

Still have Yamaha 2070, but just 'cos it's so well built. Amazing that it's over 20 years old. Still a great sounding amp in 2 channel mode.

Talk soon.
