As before, I have some 'pre-loved' items that I'm looking to dispose of as my second system is being sold off.
Yamaha KX-500 Natural Sound Cassette Deck
This is a Yamaha KX-500 Single head cassette deck with Dolby B/C and HX-Pro. Full logic transport (with very fast tape winding), fine bias and 'play trim' adjustment. Compatible with Ferric, Chrome and Metal tapes. It has Nice multi-segment recording level display, as can be seen below.
Cosmetic condition is pretty poor TBH - front panel looks fine, but the top panel is scratched. Nothing that couldn't be sorted out easily with a rattle can of matte black paint if that is an issue.
TBH, as I haven't used cassettes for such a long time, I can't tell you much about how it sounds, other than that I remember that it produced good recordings in the car and was quite pitch stable. I only ever used it to record tapes for playback in the car, so it has not really seen much use at all - I have almost never played back a tape in it other than to check the recordings, so pinch rollers and head should have minimal wear and tear.

Make me an offer - £40 + postage seems fair for a decent cassette deck in good working order without much use.
Denon TU-260L FM/AM tuner
The classic budget tuner from the 80s!. Very good signal lock, even with a wet bit of string. In good working order. pretty decent condition, apart from a scratch on the lid.
Make me an offer - £20 + postage?. Collection would be welcome too.
