Hi All,
Just wondering if anyone has, or knows where I can find an arm clip for a R200 tonearm? I have one of these arms in lovely condition but the little clip that holds the arm down when not in use is broken, it's a simple enough thing to replace if I can source one. I'm guessing that given that there are no anti-skate belts there are unlikely any arm clips either but I thought it would be worth a go.
TIA

Is it not the same as a Technics one? You can get one of them for £3.25 on eBay.

Morning Marc, contact the trader 'Turntable Groove' in the bay, he might have what you're looking for,
someone i know has sold him 2x R200's the other day, one complete and one for parts, hope that helps.

Thanks Andy,
Really daft question but how do I find a vendor by name? I can see how to do it from an email of id but I'm getting no results on the straight search term....
EDIT: Scratch that, found him. Many thanks.

Johnnie,
My r200's alright at the moment, but did you ever source the toothed belt for the bias adjustment? My memory is total cr@p on such things and I never wrote it down, but I remember replacing one or two with Mitsubishi video mech belts (I'm sure it was Mitsubishi!), but of course, detailed listings of such things are long gone, now VHS is virtually over.
By the way, in case of disaster, eBay's your friend - sometimes ;)

I had one of those when i was a young 'un - a Johnny Seven, that is. The grenade launcher used to take me fancy more than anything…

I know it's a pretty open secret online, but if anyone didn't know already, J7 at Audio Origami is both a gentleman and a scholar.
Thanks J7, I'm crisping one up for you right now.

Well, to be fair, I can't actually back up the claim that he's a scholar I didn't ask to see his certificates... but he is certainly a gent and a general 'good egg'
