Strong tall hifi rack

Hi all.

I'm 'thinking' (not run it passed the wife at this moment) of moving my bits on to a rack but I need something strong, stable and tall, well, adjustable in height would be good.

Looked at Target and Mana but Mana are no longer in business so is there anything else available that's good? The Mana ones look good because they can be raised on seperate sections but finding them is another thing.

I would possibly also be using two wall shelves.

Height would need to be at least 1.5m approx.

Any ideas and 2nd hand solutions?

Mana is wonderful and once I am sorted I will have some racks for sale
You need to check kit and shelf heights, usual is about 130mm.
Remember some kit also needs to lose heat so maybe more height for that.
Rarely your kit might be too wide, 50cm

I use Atacama Equinox Pro XL for the main rack, it's really stable especially when mass loaded and is available in different heights. When we move I've got most of a second rack which will replace the Sound organisation one that has the A/V system and cassette deck. I think they are well worth checking out.

I upgraded from original Sound Org to Mana and for good reason

However Sound Org and Target usually go for way less than Mana

Could you find someone to make something similar to Mana, it's just metal, some welding, glass shelves and adjustable spikey bits :)

Hmm.. yeah.. it's just an idea at the moment. We could do with some more storage so it might have to be moved about.

The wife doesn't like the look of the black racks much but if I did move it round then I'd be able to get my TT on a wall shelf which would be good too. :)

And exactly the size you want. Can be silver too. Marco's recommendation is non magnetic stainless steel

I use a hi fi racks podium, its strong and can go very high at reasonable cost . mines about 4ft at the moment but can go a lot higher

I use a couple of these bad boys. They will accommodate large valve amps heavy turntables you name it. Fully adjustable and built like a tank. Even the missus likes them. They are Usher Racks. I am more than happy with mine.
