New guy on the block

Hi, I'm Steve, I come from Rotherham, music lover of all kinds of genres and self confessed hifi addict.
My own music collection is mainly Mac computer based for digital stuff but I do have a collection of music on vinyl too. My equipment consists of AVI ADM9 active speakers with matching sub being fed by optical digital from the Mac, analogue is taken care of by a Project Debut Carbon with Ortofon 2M Red feeding a Graham Slee Gram Amp 2 Phono Stage. For headphone listening I have a Rega Ear mk 1 headphone amp feeding some AKG K550s, look forward to browsing the threads.

Please help prevent forum wars by keeping the AVI speakers you have in the background here. Not 'cos the members here don't like actives (very far from it actually), but because of ad hominem both ways and a certain sales director's perhaps over-evangelical rants about booming, harsh passives (you know exactly what I'm on about :)).

Hi Dave, fancy meeting you here, very active on here I see, nudging 13,000 posts WOW!! Don't plan on rattling any cages, you know what a quiet lad I am :). Came on here really to converse with vinyl users as they are a bit thin on the ground on AVIF.
