They had two when I saw them at the RAH in what I think was the 'Thrak' era (twenty years ago - oh bloody 'ell :() and they were absolutely superb. Sound was fantastic as well...

I saw the Lark's Tongues era band with Bill Bruford and Jamie Muir drumming. Possibly the best KC incarnation.
There's an amusing bit in Sid Smith's book, In the Court of King Crimson (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Court-King-Crimson-Sid-Smith/dp/1900924269/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1402431202&sr=1-1&keywords=in+the+court+of+king+crimson) about the recording of Thrak where Robert Fripp is describing what he wants the 2 drummers to play, each playing in a different time signature, and Bill Bruford says, "but Robert, I can play all of that"

Saw them at The Rainbow in the early 70s I guess.
Bruford on drums and percussion was amazing.

Yeh Jamie was a short lived member, he was amazing to watch IMHO.

Andre, one could almost believe that you were there, although, from what you've written previously, you'd have been about 11 at the time :)
Seriusly, Jamie Muir brought a degree of theatricality to their performances not normally associated with KC (Fripp especially). Sitting right at the front it was fascinating to watch Bruford in the improvs., you could just see from his expression that he had no idea what was coming next! The performance I saw in Porstmouth was, I think, on of Muirs last with KC, but you'd probably know for sure, Andre.
