The last few times I saw him on TV he was in a wheelchair. Was that the result of his quad bike accident?

We went to see Bottom Live at Sheffield City Hall... The whole thing was a amazing. So funny, everyone were in stitches.

He was really quite an amazing actor. At the Bottom Live show Ade got knocked out and fell to the floor with his legs wide open. Richie (Rik) turned to the audience and said something like "ooooeh, what shall I do now?"... Right then a bloke in the seat directly in front of me shouted "WANK HIM OFF!".

At that point, Rik dropped out of character like it was a hot stone... He said. " Right, who said that?"... everyone pointed at this poor chap in front of me to which all the spot lights followed "Oh!... hello."..."So... want to be a part of the Bottom show now do we?"... "well you can't so keep your trap shut.."... Ade then said... "Am I going to be here all f@cking night or what"... Rik then gave Ade the good ol pretend kick in the nuts..

That's how I remember him... hilariously funny and simply a star.

RIP Rik.
