Any idea how to display bit depth in Foobar?

I tried just about everything I can think of to get Foobar to display the bit depth in the status bar, but no luck so far. Has anyone managed to do that in their set up?

In the Status Bar section of Display -> Default User Interface:

$info(bitspersample)-bit

That is exactly what I have been trying. But I still can't get it to show up in the status bar itself. Can anyone show me a snapshot of that area of their screen if they have managed to get the bit depth up on their display? I want to check if it is maybe tied to the use of something else other than the standard interface.
