I'm not usually one for lavish and expensive 'coffee table' books, but I couldn't resist this one when I chanced upon it in my local book and record shop this morning

The book is a celebration of record collecting by photographer Eilon Paz. Its 400-odd pages are split into two parts. The first 270 pages are largely comprised of full page photo essays of record collectors pictured amongst their collections whilst the final section features a number of interviews with vinyl fanatics exploring their obsession with the phonograph record.

This is a truly impressive book that oozes quality and is great for just flicking through the photos in the first half as well as settling down for a good read of the interviews in the rest of the book.
The author has a website and blog at http://www.dustandgrooves.com which is well worth checking out.
