For my sins I'm a Linnie and love all sorts of music, largely acoustic but am branching out into Jazz and a little classical.

The username comes from the Linn range but my real name is John.

Recent major overhaul. Normally I deal in the second hand market although I would buy mainly from dealers.

I have an Akurate DSM which is staying, hopefully Majik Isobariks imminent and a couple of Akurate powers of which I will have to keep at least one.

I did have a distinct upgrade plan, but then a courier kindly lost a piece of kit on me!

Love vocal jazz - Norah Jones, Claire Martin, Carol Kidd - fairly mainstream.

Also acoustic blues - Eric Bibb, Keb Mo, Kyla Brox.

Acoustic in general - Shawn Colvin, Martyn Joseph

It's the instrumental side of things I'm struggling a bit with. Have bought the usual classics - Kind of Blue etc. Do like Ben Webster and have tried Johnny Hodges.
