A per forum custom, I'm posting here in the welcome area. I'm very new to audio stuff, outside of a home theatre system I pieced together a decade ago. A couple of years back, I bought a Marantz 2245 receiver for my living room stereo. Love the vintage look and the sound connected to some 80s -era ADS floorstanders.
Most recently I've come into a pair of Tannoy Orbitus 1 speakers, which feature the 12" Monitor Gold drivers. They speaker design is omnidirectional, and I don't have a good placement option in the living room. Considering selling them, or perhaps getting custom-built cabinets.
