This was taken during my time living in Pickering which I did between 2005 and 2012. I focused a lot of my attention on the railway station and the old steam trains.

Shot after my relocation to Grimsby/Cleethorpes during 2012. I quite like this little stretch of railway in deepest Lincolnshire as it has no really big pretences.

All photographs shot on a scorching hot weekend during 2006 whilst staying with friends in Derbyshire. Most people would head for the Peak District but we headed for an old railway.

Answers for you both; I don't currently have a website but I am in the middle of designing one however, it is, as usual, all down to funding or the general lack of it. I don't want a site full of other companies advertising so it is fairly expensive.

With regard to living in an old railway carriage; at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway they have carriages converted to living quarters that you can hire for the week. I think these are based at a place called Levisham which is about halfway down the line between Pickering and Grosmont. Of course you also get unlimited use of the railway as well but my guess would be that it is very costly.

Yes that's right Levisham & Goathland i often visit Goathland in the summer get on the train trips from there.. I always laugh when we drive into Goathland when i see the sheep just wandering all about the village..

Old derelict railway building long since demolished. This relic was next to the track bed that used to go from Grimsby to Louth in Lincolnshire. It was close to a place called New Waltham but the whole track bed was turned into a major road scheme called 'Peak's Parkway' that is now a main route into, and out of Grimsby.

Bronica ETRS fitted with a standard 75mm lens and a yellow/green filter. Film was Ilford FP4 which would have been developed using Paterson Aculux.
