Having heard them now in my own system, I'd have to agree. The Transparent 'Musiclink Ultra' interconnects I used to use with my Croft preamp and ECS monoblocks (in the days before I got into valve power amps), at £900 a pop, weren't in the same league as the Mercurys...! :nono:
