Ooo - yeah, let's have a Sin Bin. Sort of equivalent of the olde village stocks.

Can I choose who goes in the Sin Bin with me?

+1  Spot on Paul.
Forums attract all sorts...and all sorts of behaviour as a result. A little grown up thinking before hitting the "Post Quick Reply" is all that is needed in some cases.
Trolling is a different matter.

You'll need a much bigger one than that
In the light of Mr Grayling's comments on the radio today about purposeful activity and the need for deterrence, I wonder if culprits in the sin bin should not be made to refurbish BSR turntables and then have to host them in their systems for at least a fortnight? There need to be consequences...

What a very strange idea:ner:
Surely we could call it something better than just the Sin Bin?

We seem to have fallen in two camps here. Those who want a serious approach and those who don't necessarily need that.
I don't see the harm either way. A forum must surely be at least partly about showing individuality and personality.
I think there's room for a bit of flippancy and formality.

If that were to happen and somehow I were to end up there, I would seek a terrible revenge..
.. I would smite the world with a BSR enthusiasm, a cult, the likes of which the audiophile world has never seen! Surpassing the size and scale of any Lenco or 1210 cult to such an extent that the world will be on it's knees!!
Don't make me do it...
The Sin Bin or Slic Bin should be a temporary banning. The Banor should ban the Banee until such time as the Banee provides an affidavit and/or other documentary evidence to the Banor that he* has listened to 20 hours of Diana Krall. A bit harsh I know but there would surely be no repeat offending.
*10 hours for the weaker gender.

Geoff,
No flippancy from me - I'm deadly serious about the BSR punishment.

Nat,
To make such a threat credible would the BSRs not have to work?

Ok guys, as funny as this has been (in bits), I don't think the thread is going anywhere...
