Hello to all on the group. I have to confess to not owning what any of you on here would describe as 'quality kit'. I'm afraid my ageing ears probably couldn't do the top end stuff justice, anyway :(

So why am I here? To be perfectly honest, I just inherited a vintage amp/pre-amp, which I'll not be keeping, and wanted to post an ad, which is what I'm off to do right now (or when my permissions update).

My username - wrongsideof40 - needs no explanation. However, if I were to invent a username now, it would have to be 'wrongsideof53'.

Nice to meet you - Martin

Hi Martin, welcome to AoS from another wrongsideof53 :) What kit do you have and what music do you enjoy?

Welcome to AoS Martin.

Don't worry about being the wrong side of 53 - you're not alone.

Trust you will stay with us after you have sold your kit.

What are your tastes in music?

Hope you enjoy the Forum

Yep, get stuck in, Martin - lots of discussion here about music and the world in general as well as hifi. :)

Personally I'm the wrong side of 57, but I don't think that holds me back. ;)

Hi Martin.

Welcome to AOS. Tell us what your plans are Hi-Fi wise and let us know what the amp is that you have just obtained, it may be worth keeping.
I don't know what age you are but there are many older members here who enjoy their sounds even with dodgy hearing. I'm one of them.
