View Full Version : Horticulturists advice needed
Moaning all, need some advice on putting some pot plants ( not the illegal kind l may add)in my listening room corners behind my Harbs, because l want to jazz the place up a bit, the room is north facing, so l believe a hard wearing, rugged plant is required, any thoughts chaps?

A couple of ganja plants would liven the place up :D.

Peace Lily should do fine and will suck up all sorts of rubbish you normally breathe.
Others that I read are good for us and could be ok
Areca palm
Lady palm
Bamboo palm
Dracena Janet Gray
English ivy
Rubber plant
Devil's Ivy (https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=devil%27s+ivy&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=vyFzU6qYBqWI7AaJ5oD4BQ&ved=0CAgQ_AUoAQ&biw=1536&bih=747) - attractive and incredibly hardy (seriously, not even my plant-murdering partner has succeeded in taking these down). Easy to find in Homebase etc.

My wife suggests, ladder ferns or spider plants, they don't like too much light, just need watering now and again.
Thanks all, will brighten the place up somewhat.:)
