Beresford Caiman Power Supply

Hi All

I want to upgrade the power supply on my Beresford Caiman. Should I go for the Mark Grant or the Mains Cables R US versions. Or does anyone know of any other alternatives?

I am sure this question got answered in another thread.
One suggestion is the CB radio linear PSU from Maplin. Cost around £30. I first mentioned it years ago in Caiman thread. Many Caiman owners bought one after that, prompting Maplin to put the price up by a tenner.

I was hoping for a more standard purpose built solution. Anyone have experience with the two p/s mentioned above, or an alternative?

Also interested in something good, but reasonably priced.

Maplin psu is excellent open for upgrades just put a mains filter choke circuit which has given a deeper bass and Even more imagery. Regards robohifi
