USB to coax

Hi all , I'm tempted to get a Bushmaster but if I do I'd need a USB to coax converter . Can anyone point me towards some so I make sure I get the right thing .

i have been using the hiface 2 for a long time now. sounds good but it is not without issues.
the most common being that it is not seen on system start-up. it means you have to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work.

had this problem for a long period of time, then i bought a new monitor with built in hub. it worked faultlessly for several months. so thought the issue was usb power related.
but just the other day , the problem returned. am looking for advice on the issue on head-fi and diyah forums.
some people have commented that the problem may be motherboards not recognizing "xmos" based devices (which the hiface, and many others are).
will post any further info i find out, as and when.

yeah, mine dont for long periods of time, but then the issue re-appears.
i am not saying the OP should avoid it, cos when it works its great.
but there are an awful lot of people with the same issue as me.
i do not have the tech knowhow in this field so rely totally on advice from forums.

i have considered the "Luck-it Waveio" as a replacement, but it too, is xmos based.

going back to Chris' first response, Keith at puriteaudio is great to deal with.
the hiface2 is great value too, thats why i bought one. you could spend shed loads and still have issues.

my motherboard is an asus p8z77-v.
i must also point out that i have no idea what causes my issue and it may not be the fault of the hiface2 / xmos device. i am going purely on what i read on forums. (mainly head-fi).
i have considered flashing the bios but not confident that i wont goose my motherboard.

yeah that is pretty much it.
sometimes the speaker icon on my desktop, lower right of taskbar, has a red cross over it. if i re-plug the hiface, it then works ok.
sometimes the speaker icon appears ok, but then when i play foobar i get the "unrecoverable playback error". re-plug the device and its ok again.

these problems are only after start-up. once it is working it has never dropped out.

I think it's a Windows issue - I have had similar issues with a USB HDD "disappearing" on system wake up.
The USB HDD does not disappear if I leave the system on 24/7.

funnily enough i have experienced other usb issues.
tomorrow i intend to bite the bullet and attempt a bios flash.
