You're looking at my ultra rare and wonderful sounding Arion Acoustics Eros pre-amplifier, mainstay of my system for the last four years. This example is in excellent working order and will happily partner a wide range of both valve and solid-state power amplifiers (used it with great success in partnership with a Naim NAP250). Valve complement is 6 x 5814 plus 2 x EF86. The latter are for the Moving magnet phono stage but are not supplied (they are about £12 each from all the usual places). Amp runs completely silently, all the controls are noise free and it has two sets of pre-amp outputs, as well as Phono/CD/Aux/Tuner/Tape.
Matching, equally rare Tycho power amp went for £899 on Emporium last year so how about £500 plus post? Collection from just outside Bedford welcomed, of course, accompanied by a good demo :-)
