I am looking to get some vinyl playback in the lounge as well as in my music room (GyroDec).

So I would like a reasonable turntable at low price. I have narrowed it down to the Rega RP3 and Project Debut Carbon but have no experience of either. Very different from the Gyro.

I will audition both however are there any things I should look out for?

Thanks in advance for your guidance.

The RP3 is a great turntable in it's price bracket as are all Rega turntables. It is very well made, using high quality parts, refined and developed over 40 years. They sound excellent, are reliable and every Rega turntable ever made can be serviced or repaired at minimal cost. They are made in the UK using British components.

I agree the RP3 sounds very good. However, I would also suggest doing a search on user feedback on this and other forums.
