Black Sabbath LP Re-issues

There's quite a few present Re-issues floating about.. Which one you got? i ask cos for months on end ive been mulling over which to buy.. Ive read review after review but still no wiser!

All my early sabbs are on WWA but i need new issues cos i need perfect sleeves see :eyebrows: I have one new Re-issue on Rhino of the debut LP, although it sounds ok it is only a single sleeve :(

Anyone?

ps: I would have loved & still would love that 1970-1978 box set that was out a year or so ago but very expensive..

'fraid I can't help - I only have SBS and MOR as vinyl reissues and haven't compared them to any others. I've got some good old copies which are my preference. Mind you, one of my swirlie Vol. 4s with the booklet inside has a sleeve that would make you spit yer tea out just before your heart stopped beating. 'tis foooked, I tell you!

I'm trying to buy earlier copies but even the NEMS re-releases can go for stupid money IMO - all very frustrating ...

Was lucky enough to pick up a super mint WWA Bloody Sabbath for around 16 quid though - I reckon the seller could have got a lot more for it than that.

im more than happy to sell on the WWA's when i get satisfactory re-issues..

The reason the early WWA's go for so much is because they are actually vertigo pressings, now the cats out the bag prices will rise over night

as a side note a Spaceship vertigo issue of the first album is more scarce than an original swirley.

Hi Andre - that's a very kind offer indeed.

If the vinyl is NM I would be most interested - I too like a cover in good condition but am much more picky about the condition of the vinyl. Do let me know when you might be in a position to move them on please?

Aye the First four were originally Swirl Vertigo Jobbies {The Premiere Progressive label}.. I was rather impressed with all that bonus material on the present De-Luxe CDee Editions of the first three albums.
