FS: Sony MDR CD1700 headphones - Wonderful!

£200 rrp when new, which is a few years ago now!

Rightly admired by those in the know - these are excellent sounding and superbly comfortable (the ear cups sit around not on the ear).

VGC and work A1.
A few light scratches / scuffs, but nothing much.

£75 UK del. :)

Hi Jerry

What is the "leakage" like with these headphones. I used to have a pair of Grado SR80i's and you could hear those in the next room!

Hi Dave

These are not 'open back' phones so the leakage is much less than with Grados, for example.

They received some rave reviews when they came out saying they had the open sound of open backs but with much less sound leakage.
