Im sure many are in the same situation as myself! Is there any way i can get in touch with people in charge at Amazon UK. virtually every LP i recieve through mail order is either damaged in transit or damaged by what seems to be rough handling prior to packing. Im getting tired of it as well as the inconvenience of having the wait in for return pick up.. tbh i think this maybe the last time im going to bother with them.

As a side note im now in the frame of mind where im going to pack Vinyl in once again. Ive never been through such a performance buying records in my entire life. I cannot buy 2nd hand records in the condition i'm happy with, even worse trying to buy new records..I must ave sold over 600 new release records this months due to dissatisfaction, almost 200 2nd hand record that have not been graded correctly. Is it me or is it that most people are not really that bothered about such things.. No wonder im in a constant foul mood 24/7

Given the way they treat their staff and their approach to paying their way in the UK (or rather not), why are you using Amazon in the first place, even if they are only acting as a market place for other sellers? I voted with my feet a long time ago.

But I do sympathise regarding vinyl quality. There are some good sellers on the web who take pride in what they sell and pack well but they are not always the cheapest.

I've bought a fair amount of vinyl on Amazon, usually items that What Records don't stock. Rip n play is sometimes a nice bonus. Sent about 50% back due to warps and one was badly scratched. All packed well, we're all manufacture faults. My local newsagent is an Amazon drop off point, so returns no hassle. Got a fabulous minty mint Bach box set last week on Amazon Marketplace.

Problem it seems is cheapskate labels selling on Amazon. Bought a load over the years from Tim at What and only one return, some label glue on the disc.
