Has anybody heard/tried either the Net Audio or Red Hill Audio modifications to the 303? I'm currently running an unmodified 303 with a Tisbury passive preamp. I just acquired a second 303 and I'm toying with the idea of having it upgraded. I know it's questionable whether a piece of vintage kit should be messed about with, but are the modifications worthwhile or a disaster?

Thanks for that, Andre. Did it still sound like a Quad though?

Yes - I have a fully NetAudio modded 303 and 33 (including new PSU) - very worthwhile. If you were ever up in Yorkshire you'd be very welcome to borrow it/them for a listen. The NetAudio mods somehow manage to retain the essential essence of the "Quad sound" but now the SQ is crisper and cleaner and more dynamic. Absolutely not "Hi-Fiy" if you know what I mean
