Did any Techies see the Michael Fremer video with Bernie Grundman on Analog Planet? He was discussing all sorts of interesting vinyl engineering stuff and had a look at the cutting room and lathes they use for mastering vinyl etc. One nugget of info concerned the fact they used a Technics TT or motor or hybrid device for some of the process.

Interesting too that they had both lathes on air tables (Vibraplanes) and that they appeared to be using cable lifters which Fremer managed to knock over!
