Does anyone know a totally reliable used record outlet, as now ive sorted out what Records of mine are staying i am looking to be replacing quite a few due to sellers on a certain Auction place constantly telling pork pies over condition. I refuse to waste any more dosh on that place.. However i do also find people pay such crazy money for LP's that are suppose to go for peanuts.
Anyway im only looking for various ELP, Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, King Crimson, VDGG replacements..I'm not looking for 1st issues, earliest 2nd issues are just fine, they are not exactly suppose to be hard to locate are they?
Jeez the day this small collection is complete to satisfactory standards can't be a day too soon, never in my life have i ever encountered such a tedious nightmareish Rigmarole as buying records.
Anyone..before i go completely nutz.

Ebay is generally a total waste of time if you want to retain your marbles. But you know that, eh?
It's a shame to say it, but the most reliable and truthful sellers of used vinyl I've ever come across are all based overseas. I keep going back to Snow Records in Japan if they have what I want, & I want to be sure of getting what I am told I'm paying for.

I think 'Martin T' mention Snow a while back, or maybe it was you Chris..however what is the import duty like from Japan as i remember it being a tad un-economical when i used to buy in lots of Japanese card sleeve CDee's...

I think Martin got a copy of There's the Rub from them on my recommendation. I seem to remember that he got the one that I decided not to get! I buy anti-static inners from them - have done for years and even with the cost of posting, they work out cheaper than any source I've ever found in UK or Europe. I've never been asked to pay any form of duty for goods I've bought from them.
I buy from discogs, only had two dodgy records so far, one guy refunded me and told me to keep the record and the other one never replied.
I prefer to buy first or second pressings from people with lots of good feedback but it mainly depends on the record so I'll buy from anyone.
Must check out the seller in Japan though, anyone got a link?
