(Have to confess the interior is a bit too ‘blingy’ for me.)

I tried getting hold of someone with an Aston 'DB5' for my wedding, but had to settle for an Alvis 'TD21' instead{Another great car}

That is a cool looking car. I wonder if it will be on Top Gear at some point?

So what's the difference then between this and an Aston Martin? I don't get the "David Brown Speedback" bit - wossat, then? :scratch:

Anyway, from the outside it's gorgeous, but I agree with Barry: the interior is a blingy boy-racer's wet dream!! :spew:

Whatever happened to understated sophistication?

Marco.

David Brown = DB, as in DB4, DB5 etc. One if the many wealthy British industrialist to have ridden to the aid of Aston Martin over the years. This company has nothing to do with him, other than borrowing his name.

That is a beautiful car. Hope it's not just another dead in the water project.

I had no idea what the "DB" in the DB4, etc, stood for, but I do now - cheers! :)

So who exactly are "this company"?

Marco.

No idea, but it seems a shame to me that if they have the talent and ability to produce something like this, they aren't creating something original instead of trading on someone else's past glories, however beautiful it may be.

Hi Marco,
I am not entirely sure but David Brown Automotive are based in Coventry and owned by David Brown and as Shane says are not connected to Aston Martin ,Sir David Brown the AM owner from 1947 to 1972, or David Brown Tractors or Lockwood Gears which are also owned by the AM Brown family ,seems he just had a love of the original DB5 so has recreated his name sakes beauty, :)
