I have decided to offer my Yaqin MC10L valve amp for sale as its surplus to current requirements.
Bought about 8 months ago from a guy on ebay who said he was the 2nd owner. Its in great condition and comes with its original valves and a set of svet winded c valves (currently being used).
Not long after having it, it popped a main fuse and so to be on the safe side I sent it off to Mike at MPV in Bolton to have it checked out. After a few discussions about chinese amps and their voltage requirements we duscussed using a bucking tranny to bring it down to nearer 220v. After a bit of headscratching and sourcing Mike located a suitable transformer and managed to install it within the left hand rear casing. Since then its worked perfectly but I have also bought a Consonance amp which sounds better (it should do it was a hell of a lot more than this one).
So anyway the Yaquin is up for sale. Im looking for £300 which is exactly what it owes me. I think its a very decent amp for what it is (and should be free of any voltage related issues as well) . Im located in Liverpool and though I have the box and pckaging for this I would prefer not to post it (it weighs a tonne especially with the new tranny inside) and being a valve amp its fragile). I do however travel with work a bit and am currently moving between home and cheltenham via birmingham every week so could maybe drop off somewhere on route if that helps with a sle.
