Hi everyone - I'm new here.
My name is Andy, I'm English but I live in Italy (where hi fi can be very expensive and sometimes cliquey...). I'm kind of returning to hi fi as a hobby now the kids are old enough not to poke holes in my woofers....
I'm running the following
Alphason Solo ttable with Xenon arm (just bought this...)
Ortofon Red - waiting on Blue stylus to bedeliverd
Quad 33/405 with DaDa upgrade to both
ProAc Studio 125's
Denon DNP 720 streamer
Bushmaster2 DAC
Beresford amplifier/speaker switching unit
And
A Yamaha RXV671 AV amp
Which is what made me realise that I needed a 'real' hi fi amp....
struggling with set-up on the Alphason at the moment, but will post that separately.
Music?
Well a bit of a mix:-
- Classic Rock, together with some more modern stuff
- Blues
- Big band jazz and some guitar jazz
- Some soul and r n b
