I run jumper lengths of speaker cables as I velcro my temple mono blocks to the rear of my speakers. I was running doubled up TQ black and very happy I was too. I pulled the trigger on ultra black jumpers, to be honest not expecting too much difference. Well Im pleasantly surprised, noticeable improvements right across the frequency range. It seems to have brought a sense of attack that wasn't present before almost along the lines of PRAT. Not night and day different but a noticeable upgrade sonically.......marvellous!!!

Martin,
Its your fault I bought it, I read your write up and it planted the upgrade seed in my head.

Yep, I'm running TQ UBs both main runs and the jumpers. Really excellent cable, it's seen off quite a few other cables so far.

I'll be comparing them with Yannis cables soon, that should be interesting.

Have you got a link to the Yannis speaker cables Martin . Ta. I didn't know he sold speaker cables.

Would also be very interested in the UB / Yannis comparison. Which of his are you considering?

Have used UB and they are superb, have accommodated several significant upgrades in the last 18 months.

Relocation of audio leads me to reduce cables from 5m to 2m. Initially will get UB cut down, but considering silver cables from Art Audio, Yannis or TQ Black Diamonds.

It's Mike (MikeMusic) who is getting them and I will be taking my TQ UBs over to his for a comparison. This is one we really can't predict.

Sorry, I can't find a link for them but we will report back ;)

Be good to throw a set of TQ Blacks into the mix too if possible?
A few of us Black owners get...well, curious. :D

I E mailed Yannis regards making up jumpers. I pulled the trigger on the UBs impatiently. Yannis responded to me, he is currently snowed under with work. Stating it wouldn't be a problem making up jumpers for me in any configuration I fancied. May well purchase a set from Yannis and give them a try against the UBs.
Brian has one of the Yannis ICs which will get a listen in my system when our shifts coincide.
I can post up my impressions if and when.
May have to get a few of the Scottish lads across to hear the black vs ultra to get another set of ears and no bullshit assesment. (jumper length mind)

made up some tq blue in jumper lengths....cant say its doing much wrong at all. The ultra stuff didnt get on too well with 63s and mini Ts maybe an impedance matching thing?
I changed the impedance on the temple monos last night on my spendors-seems to have levelled the playing field some what!!!

Mike's Yannis cables were late arriving, so we will be evaluating them next Tuesday.
