Been on a buying spree recently so need to have a bit of a clear-out.

Pair of Tannoy 12in Monitor Gold dual concentric drivers, early Golds with Red-type voice coils. Original 1966/67 cones and voice coils in perfect order. £750. Also available from the chap I bought them from (but at my house currently) a pair of Chatsworth-type solid maple cabs, £150.

Miyajima Premium BE mono cartridge - one of the absolute top mono cartridges being made. I absolutely love this cartridge which due to the conical tip is at home with both modern mono vinyl, classic mono and early microgroove. I can hardly bear to part with this but needs must. List price is £1065. I bought his from a UK dealer (Coolgales in Bath). Lightly used as most mono cartridges tend to be, with box etc. I was a fan of the various SPU monos previously but this is in quite a different category for timbre and detail (though having similarities in the huge picture it presents). You won't believe what's on your mono records once you hear this. Looking for £500 (£510 by special delivery). http://www.miyajima-lab.com/e-mono.html http://www.stereophile.com/content/listening-114

Denon HA500 head amp/active step-up £200 (£210 couriered) - lovely active step-up from the golden age of vinyl specifically designed for the Denon 103 but actually works well with any moving coil cartridge 3-40 ohms impedange (it's a nominal 100 ohms with two gain options - 24db and 32db - as well as a pass through opion). Was outrageously expensive new around 1980 (about £500 or £2000 in today's money). I thought I'd have it checked out due to its age (1980s) but was told the components are still going strong and no maintenance required. If you haven't heard a 103 through one of these you very possibly haven't heard what it's capable of. For passive SUT users its main characteristic is silence - not a trace of hum - which is nice. Otherwise it has a wonderful musical feel. Worked really well with the Miyajima (6 ohms), various Ortofons (3 ohms) and a Soltear MC (12 ohms) so not just restricted to use with 40 ohm Denons or Dynavectors by any means. (Active step-ups work differently in this regard to passive devices).

Pair of Marantz CDPs, they look identical and have many interchangeable parts, but are different models, one is a CD63 fitted with with tube output stage, the other a CD67 with Superclock II. I bought this tube output DAC from Jerry last summer. This sounded pretty fab, but it was a bit noisy in the drive mechanism. Not to worry as I also had another one of these with an upgraded clock and a perfect mechanism, but with a dry joint on one of the RCA outputs. My intention was to knock the both together and have a single really cool tube CDP with upgraded clock (both are very nice in their own way). But I never got round to it. So offering both together for a measly £150. My bets are on the combined player being a real giant killer when all sorted.

Fidelity Research RS-141 Headshell left over from when I had my FR64S. Very chunky 14g, perfect with my Audio Note Io. £75 (+ £5 posted)

Xindak VT2-RP isolation feet - really nice rosewood discs with ceramic ball supports, two sets of three in original boxes, new cost is £46 a set plus postage from China and VAT once they get here so something like £130 worth here, selling for £25 a set (+ £5 posted)

Ortofon OM20 moving magnet cartridge - acquired with a TT so usage unknown but diamond still looks decent, stylus replacement alone is £125 new, so how about £45 collected? (+ £5 posted)

Voyd armboard for Rega, black shiny-coated metal, £20 (+ £5 posted)

.... will probably add some more as well later
