How far away do you sit? I only ask as the tv unit doesnt look that much longer so I can't see the KEF's being an issue.

We sit 3.5m away from the TV and the Q35's would be 2.6m apart...there's the aesthetics as well though...

There would seem to be room to move the KEF's around five or six inches out from either side of the unit which will help a lot. As for aesthetics, what with the KEF's being black and all I'm struggling to see what the problem is... :scratch:

Indeed john, I find that eight to twelve inches from the back wall suits them best (I used to own a pair) ;)

If so it's always a more difficult challenge to get the best sound . You are likely close to the wall behind you too so you have rear early reflections to contend with as well . Aesthetics apart if you can get a wall hanging behind you a rug or something fabric will help. I am not a room tuning devotee but having had small rooms and odd shape rooms in the past there are some things that really help Try and find a copy of the Sheffield Labs set up CD it has some really useful tracks by Doug Sax and Roger Skoff to help get speakers in the best position.

Ah the early years ! Then a bit of"Farewell to Kings", "Hemispheres", "Permanent Waves" and "Moving Pictures" then things went a bit astray for awhile but back on track with "Vapour Trails", "Snakes & Arrows" and "Clockwork Angels" Oh and awesome live too. Peart is still one of the greatest rock drummers ever!

Only just seen these responses.... Cheers Rush2112 :) .... Got myself some DM601 S1s and I'm so impressed! Even better when I 2.1 them... Gonna move the S1s into my office after my birthday to make room for some S2s too soon!
