It's just that sometimes you listen differently when you are nice and relaxed with no one on the phone and no one expecting something from you.....

At those times I find music a great escape and very relaxing, and SOMETIMES it seems special. I'm sure people will understand where I'm coming from.... :)

Or...if not... I'll get my coat......

Had a couple of ales earlier Bev, just having a brew now, could go for another beer though.

The sound seems to get better after ten or thereabouts for sure. Might be the mains getting clean as folk stop using it maybe.

I think there maybe a lot of truth in that statement !!

The thing is, music is better shared. I love my sounds, but listening with a friend who has similar musical tastes and appreciates a good system makes things so much better. Especially after a beer or four and whatever else might take your fancy.

I totally agree Geoff but sometimes toons by yourself can be intimate as well, ...... Which is nice!!

Did you fire the Krells up Roy?

I've never heard Krells

The only thing I've listened to which I think is similar was a pair of Mark Levinson mono blocks, which where probably the MOST expensive amps I've ever heard and I was not impressed at all....I think my Oto sounds better....

However I believe Krells are VERY good indeed

Age is relative (when your old?) I'm retiring soon anyway, destined to be 'pottering' for the forseeable future ( and listening to loads more toons)
