Me too Grant. We've just bought a little point and shoot to compliment the DSLR we have but the rangefinder style, nifty live/electronic viewfinder and excellent image quality of thr fujix100 will make this daft deal worthwhile I think.

Surely someone is interested in this given it's bargain basement price. I was hoping it would move really quickly and really surprised it's not been snapped up before now.
The spec for the pre is as follows:
Gain: 22dB
Frequency Response: 10Hz – 150kHz, +/-1dB
Max output level: 10 Volts
Distortion: THD 0.1% - 1kHz
Output Impedance 120 ohms
Power Supplies: Fully-regulated low and high voltage supplies
Tub complement: 1-6922/E88cc dual triode
Power consumption 25 watts
Dimensions: 438 x 84x 360 mm
Weight : 7,5 Kg.

The Moontail cables, despite being a relative unknown got the following comments from Jerry (JandL100) "Getting straight to the point, I was impressed. I very much enjoyed using these cables in my system and they suit my own preferences in sonic presentation well.
I liked the Moontails even more in some ways than my own reference RFC Pluto cables - they are a tad more open and have a little bit more presence at the top end, which I liked. Some folk may find them a little tonally 'hot', especially if used with hifi equipment which is already a little on the toppy side."

Come on folks, I'm practically giving this little lot away.

Buy yourself a Leica M3 or M2 or any Leica M even the digital ones, best cameras ever made, impossible to take a bad photo with good rangefinder cameras.

Have bump on me and GLWTS.

Bet I could! :eyebrows:

I know what you mean though, having owned quite a few. Mainly Olympus & Yashica years ago.

Great cameras Leicas but unfortunately even they don't make a bad photographer good- indeed in many ways they can be more difficult to use correctly to get a good image than SLRs... Anyway, back to hifi:-)

i can not believe it is unsold.
sadly it is out of my budget but i did hear Monrio Asty cd player and amp the other year
the sound was just out of this world and they looked so well made and beautiful.
whoever buys that pre amp is in for a treat. :)

Thanks guys. I reckon a Leica is gonna be out my price range even WHEN this lot sells :-)
Jason, I agree re the Monrio kit. I swapped this pre for my Unison Research cd player and had no complaints. Sadly it was only in the system for a short while as i bought another, more expensive pre.
But don't forget it's not just the pre...there's a nice interconnect included too !!!

Don't know why - just tucked into a brunch of maple cured bacon and Cumberland sausages with toast, fried tomatoes and HP sauce- I'm feeling very well disposed towards pigs ATM:).

Don't let the lack of "names" put you off with this kit.....
To clarify a post made on another forum none of this kit is review kit!
