Just a short post to say hello.
I have always been a valve amp guy but have recently bought a hybrid amp (Copland CSA 28) and my brain is "burning in" to the new sound which is very impressive. After many years of LP and to a lesser degree CD listening I am also currently getting into digital, have built a server and I am in the middle of a DIY DAC build featuring the "Lampizator" tube output stage.
Music tastes vary, rock and pop to solo artist acoustic stuff and occasionally a foray into classical. Favourite artists include Neil Young, Joe Bonamassa, Adele, James Taylor, Eric Clapton, Leonard Cohen (yes, really I like his music) and lots more that would take too long to list :)
Set up:
Michell Gyro SE, Benz Micro Ace, SME 309
Mystere A21a and Copland CSA 28 amps
Project Tube box phone stage and Pearl DIY phone stage
Njoe Tjoeb CDP (Marantz 4000 with Tube stage and other refinements)
Triangle Antal floorstanders
