I just found this forum and checked in. I am a retired EE with an interest in vintage tube audio and radios. I am a member of the Ontario Vintage Radio Association (OVRA). Specifically, I design, build and collect vintage tube audio gear and restore vintage tube radios (1920's to 1850's). I will admit that some 1970-80's solid-state items gather and reproduce themselves in my storage area... the best ones get rotated though my several stereo systems (FM, CD, DVD, tape, vinyl) to keep them exercised, along with the tube gear, of course!

I'm also a fan of vintage radios and have a few myself, including a solid-state Hacker RP72 Soverign III, Bush BAC31 and Murphy A122 valve designs, from 1973, 1953 and 1947 respectively. I love them all! Are you familiar with any of those?

So what's your current system, Roger, and what music do you like?
