HiFace 2 USB audio converter

hiFace 2 is an elegant, compact and very good-sounding USB interface that you use to connect your PC or Mac to a DAC. The hiFace offers a cost-effective way of outputting music files of up to 24bit/192kHz resolution – such as those available from Linn records – digitally via an RCA socket to a DAC that can accept them.

What's new in the '2' version
hiFace 2 adds ASIO mode to enable greater interfacing to a wider variety of equipment. hiFace 2 improves the audio performance over the original hiFace by adding a new output circuit compliant with S/PDIF levels and adds linear regulators in place of switching ones giving a clickless operation even when skipping tracks.

For the very best sound quality, hiFace 2 uses proprietary drivers which are pre-installed so no additional downloads are required. These drivers ensure that the original file’s resolution is maintained, jitter is reduced and that your computer doesn’t automatically ‘downsample’ your file’s resolution.

hiFace 2 is powered by the USB socket that it connects to and no additional power supply is required.
