I wouldn't normally link to albums i review for the pig so please remove if you see fit mods but this one I could only sum up with the following conclusion "File under dodgy-under-the-counter-brown-paper-bag-man-in-mac-porn section of your collection...if you have one!"
It's Peter Wyngarde's "When sex Leers its Inquisitive Head"...I'm sure a few Aos readers will remember the TV show he was in but did anyone go out and buy this record??? Utterly NUTS!!!!

Yes, it was originally released as "Peter Wyngarde" and was designed to be a tax loss, so RCA Victor did not pay as much attention as they might have wanted in hindsight.
It actually sold out quickly but, even then, I believe RCA was so embarrassed by it that they refused to press any more copies!

Brilliant album, have the CD. However still looking for a 1st issue on RCA Victor..

I wonder if the track "Rape" got much airplay?

And to adopt Michael Caine's persona - Peter W was Alan Bates' squeeze for quite a long time - not a lot of people know that :lol:
