I'm looking for a sliding base that will allow me to mount an Ortofon tonearm in an SME cutout, and be able to adjust overhang for an SPU.
Something like this:

The hole diameter for the pillar is 20mm. I've tried the bedplate from an SME S3 but unfortunately this seems slightly too loose. There seem to be one or two on ebay, but from Hong Kong and China. Something closer to home would be ideal. Does anyone have a spare, or know where I might be able to source one? I've seen a few NOS original Ortofon ones and they go for silly money, I'm keen on a cheap(ish) and cheerful option!
