Celestion 66 Monitors ?

I know these are well thought of.

Could someone that ownes a pair tell me, do the cabinets suffer from resonance?

They appear to be chipboard, which was the norm for the period. My Tannoy Cheviots of the same vintage vibrate quite a lot, you can hear it and feel it when you touch the sides. Was wondering if these suffered the same.

Also, do they play well in a smallish room eg 14' x 13' x 9' high?

I'm a bit strapped for time at the moment, matey, but the answers to your questions are 'no' (rapping on the sides of them with your knuckles produces nothing other than a dull thud), 'yes' (as my music room is roughly about the same size, and I've used them successfully in there, as long as you place them on effective supports, to control the bass) and 'yes' (I have them in use daily downstairs in the lounge). I also still have my 15XRs.
