Other makes considered, but a 2nd hand Funk would be my preference.

Because I doubt very much I will hear the difference with my modest cartridges, and if I like the sound, then that is all that matters. It will also free up other cash for a SUT and a MC cartridge.

Having never heard either, either will be better than what I have.
