Help identifying a mystery tonearm

I wonder if anybody here can help me ID this tonearm. I bought it to tinker with (by keeping the housing and the gimbal/bearing and replacing the arm tube with a carbon fibre arrow shaft adaptation or wood) but have no real idea what it is.

It looks like it could be from a Toshiba 355 if you remember those.

Yep, it's a generic Jap OEM tonearm.

It looks basically fine. I'll strip it down and clean it up and work out what I can remove from it...

It has some traits similar to the arm on my PL71, that arm is made by ACOS....
