Mission 760i Mega Bargain

Pair of Mission 760i bookshelf/standmount speakers from the 90's... Full working order & good condition, one grille requires a little blu-tak to stay on but its really minor.

After my recent DM2 woes these are looking tempting. It would be nice to own some speakers who's tweeters didn't duck and run whenever there's an 'r' in the month :eyebrows:

I bought some of these (around 1991) from when Mission speakers were well made, sold them to a mate and now his eldest son is using them and they sound great even now I'm told

they do work best with solid stands IMHO, I used mine on Linn ku stone stands and sold them with those so assume they are still sat happily on them :)
(some on ebay for nowt however they are HEAVY so will have to collect)

for finishes on old speakers polishing with a wax repair stick is well worth it, black is not too easy to find but I recently bought one for £3.14 on the 'bay (Softwax Soft Wax Wood Filler Repair Stick)

Bargaintastic! I love these little things (bought mine back in 1992, only sold them 5 or so years ago) and they're a riot. If I didn't have 4 other pairs of speakers in the house I'd snap these up.

And with James being a Sony fan he's clearly a tip-top chap too. :)

Thanks guys. They do like some power up 'em don't they ? The little T-amp is finding them harder to drive than the JBL's !

I still have a pair of the 760se in regular use, yes they do like some power up them but strangely they love the mini t.
