Sorry guys, have had some great advice from some of you, some of you have kindly offered me some great deals....Alas usually out of my budget!
Guess £350 is my absolute max., really could do with spending less, as i would have to ship it out to Thailand (can do all transactions etc, from my uk base)......which will obviously not be cheap.
If anyone has any bargains around this price, please let me know..............Kind Regards, Mark.

A Croft Micro Basic should do the job.

The only one I could recommend is the Fidelity Audio PRE-120 as it is the one I currently use. Its big disadvantage is that it is only one input and one output but the sound quality is astonishing.

There's a Conrad JOHNSTON PRE on the wam for £250. Sure that would do nicely. Same guy is also selling a technics pre for £175.... was interested myself.

If you can find them, I was always taken with the original MF XP-100 pre as well as the first Cyrus pre (with optional balanced outs). Solid build and in the MF case, easy service.

I have a Croft Micro Basic (phono version) going for £250 + P&P.

Let me know if it's of any interest!
