I just purchased an Audio-Technica AT150ANV cartridge for my SL1200mk2/KAB. I want to use it on my Sumiko HS12 headshell. The AT150ANV weighs 9.5 gr and the HS12 weighs 11.5 gr.
I mounted it in the headshell and can't get the arm to balance, even with the 10.5 gram accessorie counterweight. Any thoughts on how to solve this?

I have a custom 3 piece brass counterweight that you could use? It was made by "Thrunobulax" who unfortunately doesn't frequent the forums anymore. It will allow you to take any cartridge / headshell easy...
