Wanted: Turntable....

Hi folks

I'm after a cheap as chips turntable... either direct or belt driven... or one that needs new stylus etc.... Lid or no lid!

Ideally id like a direct drive but not fussed... will cover postage!


Anyone got anything ?

Yes, I may have what you need. A Rega Planar 2, with or without lid, with or without tonearm. Good motor and belt.
With or without the glass platter even.

Nice deck the Planar 2 and scope aplenty for modifications, in fact the modding scene for Rega TT's is arguable more extensive than that of the SL12xx decks...

I have a Technics SL120 in excellent condition, with or without lid and with or without arm. It is the same as the SL1200 Mk1 but without arm. I have a standard SL1210 arm on it at present. Had it for about 7 years but need to free up some space.

Im looking to spend about 30 quid, I know not a lot. I've been offered a Gemini xlbd10 - needs new stylus. Can pick the stylus up on ebay for about £5.

I have a Sony direct drive you can have for £20 plus the postage. With lid, arm and Sony cart - it is quite tidy with no marks or scratches. Won't give an SL1200 any sleepless nights but it's damn good for £20.
