I've just acquired a Caiman DAC off of eBay; first impressions are that it's a big step up in SQ compared to the DAC I've been using. Things are fine on the USB input with J River, but when I switch to Spotify the DAC isn't recognised and the sound just comes out of the laptop speakers. AFAIK everything is set up correctly and the Caiman is the default sound device. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any ideas?
