Thanks Ali. Look rather larger than they did in the shop!

A jico sas for the U205. I posted some details on another thread. I'd try to link it if I was on a desktop pc instead of a phone (another new toy). But view my recent ish posts

Fat fingers?

They look very nice Richard. I hope they sound just as good.

They sound lovely, but far more similar to the ventricals than I expected. And they take up a lot more living room. I wanted to try them in my own system because they had good reviews and had decent bass extension given the (severe) constraints of my lounge. I picked them up 2nd hand for £1200 and won't lose much if I decide to move them on. But only just started listening to them for now ;)

I once asked a former bridge partner if he did any cooking and I was educated with the following pearl: 'You don't buy a dog and do the barking yourself!' Be that as it may I venture the prophesy the next purchase in your household. Given the plethora of toys it has to be a new Playpen - the Mrs can place you in it after feeding and leave you with all your new toys for a couple of hours.

Ah but for who? The nikon 7100 is mainly for sue to use on the photography courses bought her for Christmas, and getting those speakers and the stylus past the budget committee has cost me a new hob sink, worktops splashback tiles and hand painting of kitchen cupboards :(
