Just a few pics of my recently upgraded system, although the Paradigms have been resident since 1997.

Hi Andy,
I know the speakers appear to be positioned rather high, apart from giving me a little more floor space I spend quite some time on my feet and being 6ft it seemed logical. It sounds great whilst reclining in my stressless lazy boy so I'm happy as it is for the time being. Am looking to replace the Paradigms with something manufactured in the UK and they definitely will be located on the floor. Thanks for checking out my kit!!

Hi Lee!!
The problem I encountered was relocating from a relatively large dwelling in a regular neighbourhood to a location that was more costly hence the lack of floor space and the speakers are always going to be the compromise.
Must say you system set up is pretty well thought out and well defined. Thanks for checking out my kit!!.

Paradigm make very fine speakers - I like the Cyrus stuff, too. I bet it sounds good, Steve.

What's the largeish box on the left on the low stand?

Hi Jerry!!
Glad you like some of my bits and pieces, yes Paradigm are very good especially in the bass area, the 7se mk3 pair I have have quite deep cabinets and the open port at the bottom really releases a great deal of depth. Am looking to replace them probably with stand mounts particularly PMC's or Spendor.
I went to the Sound & Vision Expo in Bristol this morning, both of the aforementioned had wonderful new products, although out of my reach brand new .I continue to search.
I don't like to mention the thing lurking on the black cube to the left of the pic I posted, in these circles I would imagine it was taboo, definately not HIFI, yes you've guessed it ...the dreaded S*y P*us H* Box.
Thanks for taking a look at may system!!.

Hi Everyone!,
My Paradigm 7se mk3's are a great pair of Floorstanders so I decided to remove them from the bay window sill. They are heavy deep and cumbersome and whilst aerating both my carpet/parquet floor I finally located the "sweet spot". The new position provides a wonderful wide soundstage, the phrase 'the speakers disappear' was totally lost on me until now!.
Thinking back to when I was browsing through AOS members posts and advice it became clear to me they knew exactly what they were conveying, (speakers wide apart, slightly toed inwards until optimum sound reproduction is acheived). So thank you AOS members for all your help, I am enjoying a far superior listening experience now and I will keep my speakers at least for a little while longer.
