Pioneer PDS-703 cdp, works and sounds fine.
Has a couple of dings and nicks and no remote.
Collection from Kings Lynn or Peterborough preferred although I'm happy to pack and post if you cover the postage.

I don't have the PD-S703, but I do have a couple of PD-S505 Precision players which are rather similar. They feature some mods by Tom Evans and they sound absolutely lovely. I use mine as transports and they are just as musical as my Meridian players.

These things are sooooo stable! Just been moving stuff around while playing a cd, practically stood the cdp on end and it still played away with not a skip.

Hi Andy

This deal turned sour after nearly god knows how long in waiting to be dispatched then i sent you an email saying where is my item i payed postage for then i sent you an email asking to be refunded that was quite a while ago and still nothing through the post if this carries on i will have no choice but to go to Marco.

Maybe im just impatient:cool:

I picked up one of these for a friend and although it sounded a bit 'meh' outputting through the Rega DAC, hooked up to my old DR5 pre-amp via its analogue outputs it was gorgeous. I've not a clue why it was so flat and lifeless through the Rega though

This deal turned sour.......

I hope this is some sort of temporary memory loss, or honest misunderstanding. Can you help us out here please Andrew?

Hi Chris,

It's a misunderstanding i think what went wrong was the postage cost i think it came to £16 via the post office but i only sent £10 before Andrew weighed it at the PO i think thats where its gone wrong. I have nothing against Andrew also just noticed on my door today that the door buzzer is not working that probably why its not arrived and i may have been a bit hasty and impatience.

Thanks Guys

Hi Dan, I see you already have a Pioneer 703, is your's faulty? is that why you wanted Andrews one??

Dan fronted up a tenner for postage which turned out not to be enough. I said I would make up the difference out of my benefit when it came in. This wasn't good enough for Dan so I have returned his money via post as I don't have or want a paypal account and he thinks I'm a gangster so wouldn't accept a bank transfer. The boys lack of couth has left me deciding to stick the 703 in the bin.
So much grief over a cdp.
